This workshop introduces students to the traditional art of Sumi-e — East Asian ink painting using brush and black ink.

Students will:

• learn the basics of brush handling and ink control
• explore line variation through pressure and movement
• create paintings of natural elements such as bamboo, grasses, and animals

The workshop combines artistic practice with cultural awareness, offering students an opportunity to experience a historical art form in an engaging and approachable way.
