I am a Latvian writer drawn to stories of movement, transformation, and the search for something more.

My work follows characters who step beyond the familiar, guided by dreams, curiosity, or a quiet inner pull. Their journeys are shaped not only by the worlds they move through, but by the changes that happen within them — often leading them away from where they once belonged.

While many of my stories are inspired by history, travel, and cultural heritage, they are ultimately about people — about becoming, choosing, and discovering what lies beyond the familiar.

Alongside my work for adults, I also create illustrated books for children, where storytelling meets creativity, imagination, and exploration.

I also lead workshops and develop lectures, where I share the knowledge and skills I have gained through my journeys — both through travel and the process of researching and creating my books.
